All aboard the TASTY TRAIN! Yeah, that’s right, I’m running with the train theme. I hope you bought your tickets in advance, and checked your FORMER BREAKFAST at the gate. Because it’s time to hop on board — the Vanilla Mango Express is heading straight for your MOUTH!

Okay, all tackiness aside, let’s get to the recipe. This is one of my favorite morning-starters yet.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
½- ¼ mango
1.5 inch-2 inch thick slice of pineapple, spiny sides removed, cored
1 banana
¼ cup of vanilla yogurt
PREPARATIONS:
Throw it all in the blender! I used an extra ripe pineapple, one that was actually LEAKING sweet juiciness. As I always say, the riper the better. In fact, this pineapple is so ripe…I better make a double batch in case it doesn’t last until tomorrow. Not like I’m complaining!
This smoothie comes out tasting like a tropical treat. And since I hear it’s been a cold blast recently in the Midwestern USA, let’s all take a moment to savor this smoothie and pretend we’re in a hammock in Costa Rica. Or lounging on the beach in Ft. Myers, Florida. Or literally anywhere else than where there is snow (like Ohio) or frigid ‘summer’ temperatures (like Cusco).
