I know that Autumn doesn’t technically start until late September, but after the cold, gray, dreary weekend I just spent in the hills of the Ohio Heartland–rife with sweatshirts, campfires, and lots of shivering–I’m gonna say that fall started on September 1st this year.

That said, it’s going to be one AMAZING fall.

Aside from the giddiness that seasonal transitions inspire, this fall will also see a shit ton of professional accomplishments. For whatever reason, I am bad at planning releases so I have a oh-shit-I-blew-my-wad pile of publications coming between September and November.

THREE of them, to be exact.

Which, you know, in Ember Leigh Land, is a lot.

First–in NARY A WEEK’S TIME–we have Breaking the Rules coming from Loose Id (cover reveal coming soon!). It’s book #1 in a series I began that follows sexy, ripped, and mostly level-headed heroes from within the world of MMA fighting.

Book #1 follows Travis and Amara as they struggle to merge two worlds: that of pacifism and fighting, since heroine Amara works in the non-profit world serving domestic abuse victims, and Travis makes his millions beating men to a pulp. How can the two meet in the middle? For Amara, it’s an impossible compromise. But Travis shows her otherwise…

And then in NOVEMBER we’ll have two new releases from the Leigh. In the first half of November we’ll see My Little Secret, another UFC-inspired novella that is part of a boxed set titled Seasons of Seduction (link for pre-order coming soon!).

It’s a fun story I wrote about Sadie who finally gets to meet–and bone–her celebrity MMA crush, Hawk. It just so happens that Hawk is her brother Brute’s arch nemesis, who he’s scheduled to fight in less than two weeks in one of the most anticipated match-ups of the year. All she wanted was to say hello to her celebrity crush, but hello turned into holy hell… Now Sadie must decide: cut off one of the only gratifying budding relationships she’s ever had, or face the music with her family, who will surely exile her if they found out she was bedding the enemy.

Later in November, we’ll see my second release with Loose Id, another series I began that follows a rock band of brothers! It’s my first foray into rock band romance, and I couldn’t be more excited. Book #1 is These Wounds Run Deep, which follows Ellie MacGregor as she struggles to cope with the reintegration of Zach Carter into their hometown.

He was her first friend, her first love, her first time. Zach was everything to her, but he couldn’t even be bothered to send a postcard for a decade. So when he comes back into town, Ellie is determined to prove to him that she’s moved on, made her own way in life, and that she couldn’t care less about ripped, sexy drumming gods who dominate the charts in rock. But Zach has other plans. Even though she barely looks his way, Zach will do anything to make her see that she’s the only woman he’s ever wanted.

I love all these stories, and can’t wait to share them with the world! I’ll finish off the wonderful fall by merging into a delightful December…when I’ll welcome my first child into the world! I don’t think I can stress enough how excited I am for the upcoming fall and winter!

Preggers in Seattle! 6 months along & (mostly) loving it!

That’s about it for Ember Leigh Land…for NOW! Stay tuned…I’ve re-activated the blogging fingers.
